Treatment of Atopic Dermatitis

The most important thing, to bear in mind while managing and treating eczema is that you must have adequate or enough information pertaining to the condition; then should start the treatment accordingly.

Here are some preventive measures:
• Bath your child in lukewarm water.
• After bath, do not forget to apply moisturizer.
• Make sure that your child’s nails are short and nicely trimmed.
• Choose cotton wearing for your child.
• Use Antihistamines to provide your child with a nice sleep without scratching.
• No pets please! Fur is a great source of irritants. Therefore, avoid pets.
• Engage your child in different enjoyable activities, which would refrain him from scratching.

• If necessary, change your child diet and food habits. Avoid foods that causes allergy and further aggravate the irritation.
